I'll bite, as it's a few minutes from Thursday here: http://wabiandsabi.wordpress.com/2012/08/12/3424/#more-3424

A post from almost a year ago now, written after watching Girls for the first time and cringing. A warning, it's non-tech related whatsoever and written from a quite a young perspective.

Love it - actually ran huge promo like this for Ben & Jerry's a few years back to launch their upside down ice cream product. Had 100s of bloggers repost their first post on the same day. It was awesome:)

Similar idea is to make a NEW blog post that lists a bunch of your old ones- either by popularity or in the last few years or whatever. People actually love that shit. I did it recently here: http://andrewchen.co/2013/04/23/a-new-featured-essays-page/ but have done it a few times through the years.

Startup Edition, Product Hunt

I like that. I wish there was a way to system that automatically maintained an updated page of popular, categorized posts. Not just an archive dump but a more curated list.

Love it - sort of like the blogging equivalent of a clip show http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clip_show

Good post. I'm still very happy to have my latest post appear as soon as you visit my site, but like you I want to at least highlight a few of my top posts.

Not all blog posts are created equal and a yet the standard reverse-chronological-order format treats them like they are.

Union Square Ventures, Fifty App (http://fiftyapp.com)

If I can manage to locate the files for my old homebrewed blog, I'm in :-)

Union Square Ventures, Fifty App (http://fiftyapp.com)

Here's the blog that I kept in the months after I moved to Tel Aviv from New York. No tech essays here on unbundling or digital identity, just goofy personal anecdotes ;-)

Back when there were two "launch"co's in the same class at 500! =) Can you even imagine trying to do that original business now that email advertising is going so well?

Reply · Tweet ·

haha -- yeah, that first sentence is a throwback! but in many ways, I still like the initial vision -- we do want to help companies get off the ground. it's just that happens in a very different way now. :)

Ryan, I'm a more recent blogger, but here goes

As someone who loves to tinker with the tools, I have such a hard time understanding people who don't like to tinker with the tools. But, sometimes, I envy the ignorant bliss of not caring anything about the tools. =)

It's so funny to me... I know that getting jobs through loose ties is the quintessential proof of the value of large social networks. But, LinkedIn is still the network that I have most locked down: http://bit.ly/linkedTK

It would be fun to recreate a time and space to get back into that 'thinking about the world and how everything works' zone with other people who clearly don't have all the answers yet...

I actually am really sad that I don't have the same naïve enthusiasm that I used to about these sorts of questions. It's almost embarrassing to me now to read all these old blog posts. I was reading too much Nietzsche or something haha.

I dig it. I might organize a "conference" that is purely dorm rooms, pizza, molson ice, and late teen angst and philosophical meanderings. No social media. Just weird used couches, and the meaning of life.
